Can we paint our counter tops?
Hello, we are buying a home and hate the color of the countertops but cannot afford new ones at this time. Is there some type of surface cover or spray on pebble like substance available?

There are epoxy paint products that you could have sprayed on your existing counters. We’ve seen it done on bartops with reasonable success. However this is not a do it yourself project. These finishes are toxic, require spraying and there is a lot of prep. One source for someone who might be able to do this are companies that resurface bathtubs and other bathroom fixtures.
By the way, our feeling is that this may end costing as much as replacing laminate counters…
